Our first-ever in-person Annual Meeting, INPCS23: Coming Together to Transform Care, is just over a month away! We’re busy working to make this an unforgettable event and hope you’re planning on attending.
We are writing today to inform you of an important update regarding the hotel accommodations for our conference. We’ve had significantly more interest in arriving on Tuesday, September 12th than we anticipated and, as a result, the discounted group room block at our conference hotel, the Hilton Minneapolis, has nearly sold out for that night. Unfortunately, the hotel overall also has extremely limited availability that night and is not able to add any additional rooms to our block at this time.
If you haven’t already booked your hotel room for the conference, you will likely find that Tuesday night is not available. However, we still have plenty of rooms for Wednesday and Thursday nights. In order to ensure that we are able to fulfill our financial commitments to the hotel, we are writing to ask for your cooperation in making alternate lodging arrangements for Tuesday night only and then returning to the Hilton for any additional nights.
We understand that this may cause some inconvenience, and we sincerely apologize for the disruption. Here's what we’re doing and will do in the future to make this as easy as possible for you:
- **We have secured an overflow room block for Tuesday night only at the nearby Hyatt Hotel. Reservations can be booked by clicking here.***
- In the event that rooms become available on Tuesday night at the Hilton, we have created a waiting list to facilitate the assignment of those rooms. You can add your name to the waiting list by clicking here.
- When you arrive at the Hilton on Wednesday having checked out of your Tuesday-night lodging, we will store your luggage in our conference staff office until your room at the Hilton is ready to check into. The staff office is very conveniently located immediately adjacent to the general session room and immediately behind the registration desk.
- To help compensate for the inconvenience, everyone who has to book at a different hotel for Tuesday night and then returns to the Hilton for Wednesday and Thursday night will receive an extra complimentary drink ticket to be used at either the Tuesday night Welcome Reception or the Poster & Exhibit Hall Happy Hour Reception on Wednesday evening.
