Dr. Neha Kramer is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine (Section of Palliative Medicine) and Department of Neurological Sciences at Rush University Medical Center, where she also serves as Director of Clinical Operations for Palliative Medicine. She is dual fellowship-trained in Cerebrovascular Neurology and Hospice and Palliative Medicine following a neurology residency at Mayo Clinic, and she brings extensive expertise in neuropalliative care across inpatient, outpatient, and hospice settings.
Internationally recognized as a leader in neuropalliative education, Dr. Kramer was the inaugural co-chair of INPCS Education Committee, where she spearheaded the dissemination of the EPEC-Neurology curriculum and co-developed the International Neuropalliative Care Certificate Course, now in its fourth year in India. She also serves as past chair of the Neuropalliative Specialty Interest Group within the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine and is an active member of the American Academy of Neurology’s Leadership Committee.
Dr. Kramer’s scholarly contributions include numerous peer-reviewed publications, book chapters, and invited presentations on neuropalliative care, communication, and education. Her leadership philosophy emphasizes collaboration, transparency, and sustainability—principles she brings to her role as Treasurer of INPCS to ensure financial stewardship and strategic growth of the Society.
