You’ve Never Met a Place Quite Like This. Meet Minneapolis.

Meet the biggest underestimated place in the north. A dramatic riverfront skyline, three professional sports stadiums within 1.3 miles, so much art you’re literally surrounded by it and a theater on almost every corner. A culture committed to perfecting the craft of the brew, the best park system in the nation, and a foodie paradise where you can get Nordic cuisine for breakfast, Ethiopian for lunch and this thing called a “Jucy Lucy” for dinner – and oh yeah, cocktails on a Ferris wheel.  A place to bring your dancing shoes and party at festivals all year round, enjoy four gorgeous seasons surrounded by 13 lakes, the Mississippi River and a waterfall, and meet the friendly locals who can’t wait to show you why they love living here.

And there's no better way to learn all about all that Minneapolis has to offer than at the Meet Minneapolis website. Their Promotional Toolkit contains loads of information about things to do, transportation, and places to eat and drink. Check it out!

Airport Information:
Voted "Best Airport in America," the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP) is a centrally-located travel hub revered for its ease of check-in, security, and amenities. As a major hub for Delta Airlines, it is the country’s 17th busiest travel hub with 34 million passengers passing through each year. Compared to other metro areas, only one other U.S. city serves more nonstop markets per capita. The recent arrival of Southwest Airlines offers greater affordability, and MSP’s central location offers a speedy trip (15 – 30 minutes) to the city.

Getting Downtown from the Airport:
The METRO Blue Line Light Rail (LRT) is the cheapest solution to get you downtown. The trains run every 12-15 minutes, starting at roughly 4:00am until 11:30pm. To get to downtown Minneapolis, it will probably take you around 25 minutes. The Nicollet Mall station is approximately a 0.4 mile walk to the Hilton.
