Landscape of Neuropalliative Care Focus Group

Time: 12:30pm-1:30pm
Location: General Session Room (Orchestra A, B, C)
Description: This project is being conducted by Joshua Hauser (Northwestern), Luke Newell (Northwestern), Ed Richfield (NHS) and Lauren Treat (Colorado) with the goal of broadening our understanding of topics such as: the structure of neuropalliative care clinics and care teams; challenges in providing care; teamwork; and outcomes. Any conference attendee who is a healthcare professional (e.g., chaplain, nurse practitioner, physician, social worker, etc.) who participates in neuropalliative care of patients in a clinical setting and who can participate in an English-speaking focus group is eligible to participate in this study. A light meal will be provided during each focus group. There will be no other financial compensation for participants.
