Diane Tryneski

Diane Tryneski has over 25 years of technology leadership at 3 of the world’s top digital and media brands—HBO, The Walt Disney Company, and Discovery Communications—to her boards and clients. She drove significant revenue and margin growth at each of those companies by using technology to create new businesses, products, and world-class customer experiences.
At HBO, a $7 billion, global, premium television network and streaming service, Ms. Tryneski was Executive Vice President, Chief Digital Officer & Chief Technology Officer. Most significantly, she built a pioneering, global B2B and D2C streaming platform and digital services that created a new, $1 billion annual revenue business. In addition, Ms. Tryneski established a state-of-the-art cybersecurity organization and technology crisis response/business continuity plan, restructured her 800-person, global team for HBO’s digital future, implemented succession planning, and significantly increased the transparency of technology costs to executive decision makers and the Board.
Prior to HBO, Ms. Tryneski was Senior Vice President, Television Operations, for the ABC Television Network at The Walt Disney Company and Executive Vice President of Discovery Communications’ Content Production Group. Her industry leadership has been recognized with awards from TVNewsCheck, Multichannel News, and Broadcasting+Cable. She’s a member of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, the International Academy of Digital Arts & Sciences, and New York Women in Film & Television.
A long-time diversity advocate, Diane serves on the Advisory Board of the Emma Bowen Foundation. The Foundation partners with media and technology employers to increase diversity through multi-year internships across all verticals for students of color. While at HBO, she was a founding sponsor of The Women in Technology Network.
Ms. Tryneski currently serves on the board of Southern New Hampshire University, a $1+ billion revenue, 178,000-student, global digital innovator in higher education. She also served on the board of PK Global, a PE-owned, 5,000-employee, global customer experience design and engineering firm, that was acquired by Concentrix (NSDQ: CNXC) in 2021.
In addition to her board roles, Diane provides CDO and CTO advisory services to investors, founders, and boards. Her work includes digital and AI/ML technological & cultural transformation, plus related product ideation and development.
Ms. Tryneski is a graduate of Rutgers University with a degree in Communication & Journalism.
