Education Committee

Mission: The purpose of the Education Committee is to provide education around neuropalliative care to clinicians, all persons living with neurologic illness, and their caregivers.  In this way, our society will serve as an informational bridge between patients and providers, enhancing trust and confidence, and thus strengthening the therapeutic relationship.

Vision:  Providers will feel more confident and comfortable providing palliative care to persons living with neurologic illness. Patients and caregivers of all backgrounds will experience less uncertainty, more control, increased ability to advocate for themselves, feel better resourced to ask the right questions and find the best sources of support, and will be empowered to help others in similar circumstances.
