Benzi Kluger, MD, MS, FAAN

Benzi Kluger, MD, MS, FAAN is a Professor of Neurology and Medicine and the founding director of the Palliative Care Research Center and Neuropalliative Care Service at the University of Rochester Medical Center. He is a pioneer in the emerging field of neuropalliative care and the founding President of the International Neuropalliative Care Society (INPCS). He launched the first comprehensive team-based neuropalliative care program in the US in 2013 and continues to evolve and improve care models. His research focuses on the application of palliative care approaches to neurodegenerative illness and has been funded by the NIH, PCORI, Michael J. Fox Foundation, Department of Defense and others.
