The EPEC Professional Development Workshop (PDW) is a one-day virtual conference that focuses on “teaching about teaching.” The day will begin with brief didactic presentations on three core teaching approaches (interactive lectures, small group teaching and role play) that are used in the EPEC program and many other teaching settings. Following these presentations, participants will have the opportunity to practice and get feedback using these three approaches. Throughout, we will consider relevance to virtual and in-person teaching. The small groups in this conference will have a maximum of 10 participants. This workshop is open to all EPEC Trainers and all others, of any discipline, who wish to improve their teaching techniques. View the Workshop Brochure for additional details.
